INTERPRETATION AND GENERAL CLAUSES (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2009

An ordinance to amend the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance, cap. 1

Citation and Commencement

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation and General Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance 2009 and shall come into force on the 28th day after it is made.

Section 2(1) amended

2. The definition of “child” in section 2(1) of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance is amended by, after the expression “under the age of”, omitting “fifteen” and substituting “16”.
