An Act to amend the Cook Islands Monetary Board Act 1981

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Cook Islands Monetary Board Amendment Act 1990, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Cook Islands Monetary Board Act 1981 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. New section added

The principal Act is amended by adding after section 12, the following new sections:

"12A Applications
(1) Where any person wishes the Board to exercise its powers under this Act that person shall make application in writing to the Board;
(2) Any person making application to the Board under this section shall pay to the Board a fee to be prescribed by regulation."

This Act is administered by the Cook Islands Monetary Board.
