An Act to amend the Civil List Act 1984

(9 December 1987

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in session assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

1. Short Title and commencement

(1) This Act may be cited as the Civil List Amendment Act 1987 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Civil List Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of August 1987.

2. Salary of the Speaker

The First Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the words "$17,000.00" and substituting the words "$30,296.44".

This Act is administered in the Legislative Service.
