An Act to amend the Crown Law Office Act 1980

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled and by the authority of the same as follows -

1. Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Crown Law Office Amendment Act 1989 and shall be read with and deemed part of the Crown Law Office Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Solicitor-General

Subsection (4) of Section 6 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words "New Zealand, or in Australia", and substituting the words "a Commonwealth country".

This Act is administered by the Crown Law Office.
