FINANCE (AMENDMENT) DECREE, 1989

A DECREE TO AMEND THE FINANCE ACT, 1981

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree-

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Finance (Amendment) Decree, 1989.

Section 43(1) of Finance Act Amended

2. Subsection (1) of Section 43 of the Finance Act, 1981 is amended by deleting all the words appearing after the word "sum" and substituting the words "as he may think fit".

Made this 8th day of September 1989.
