A DECREE TO AMEND THE FIJI DEVELOPMENT BANK GUARANTEE (NO. 1) DECREE, 1991

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title and Interpretation

1. (1) This Decree may be cited as the Fiji Development Bank Guarantee (No. 1) Decree, 1991 (Amendment) Decree 1991.

(2) In this Decree the Fiji Development Bank Guarantee (No. 1) Decree 1991 is referred to as "the principal Decree".

Subsection (1) of Section 3 of the principal Decree amended

2. Subsection (1) of Section 3 of the principal Decree is amended by the deletion of the expression and words "($33.0m) thirty three million dollars" and substituting the expression and words "($47.0m) forty seven million dollars".

Commencement

3. This Decree shall he deemed to have come into force on the 25th day of June 1991.
