FIJI INDEPENDENT COMMISSION AGAINST CORRUPTION (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2010
[DECREE NO. 22 of 2010]

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, I hereby make the following decree -

A DECREE TO AMEND THE FIJI INDEPENDENT COMMISSION
AGAINST CORRUPTION PROMULGATION 2007

Short title and commencement

1. - (1) This Decree may be cited as the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (Amendment) Decree 2010.

(2) This Decree is deemed to come into force on the date of commencement of the Crime Decree 2009 (Decree No. 44 of 2009).

Section 2A amended

2. Section 2A of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (Amendment) Promulgation 2007 (Promulgation No. 28 of 2007) is amended by -

(a) deleting the content of paragraph (g) and substituting with the following -

"any offence under the Penal Code [Cap. 21];";

(b) deleting the content of paragraph (h) and substituting with the following -

"any offence under the Crimes Decree 2009;";

(c) deleting paragraphs (i), (j) and (k); and

(d) renumbering paragraphs (l), (m) and (n) as paragraphs (i), (j) and (k) respectively.
