FIJI MILITARY GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 9 1987

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the Commander and Head of the Fiji Military Government, I hereby make the following Decree:

1. This Decree may be cited as the Fiji Military Government Decree No. 9 1987.

2. The term Fiji Interim Military Government shall no longer be used to refer to the title name and style of the Government of the Republic of Fiji.

3. The title name and style by which the Government of the Republic of Fiji shall be known is the Fiji Military Government.

4. Such title name and style when read in decrees made henceforth and in decrees made prior to this decree shall be read as being made by the Military Government of the Republic of Fiji.

5. Where the term Fiji Interim Military Government appears in prior decrees it shall be taken to be read as one and the same with the title name and style – Fiji Military Government.
