FIJIANS TRUST FUND (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) DECREE 2009
(DECREE NO. 38 OF 2009)

A DECREE TO FURTHER AMEND THE FIJIANS TRUST FUND ACT 2004

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as Vice-President of the Republic of Fiji by virtue of the Office of the Vice-President and Succession Decree 2009 I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Fijians Trust Fund (Amendment) (No. 2) Decree 2009.

Section 7 amended

2. Section 7 of the Fijians Trust Fund Act 2004 ("the Act") is amended—

(a) in subsection 4 by deleting "Nominations made under subsection (3)(a) are not limited to members of the BLV and" and substituting "Appointments" instead of "appointments";

(b) in subsection (5) by deleting ", after consultation with the BLV,".

Section 9 amended

3. Section 9 of the Act is amended in subsection (3) by placing a full stop after "consists of 4 members" and deleting the rest of the subsection.
