iTAUKEI TRUST FUND (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2012
(DECREE No. 23 of 2012)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree -

Short title and commencement

1. - (1) This Decree may be cited as the iTaukei Trust Fund (Amendment) Decree 2012 and shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

(2) The iTaukei Trust Fund Act (Cap. 121A) shall be referred to as the "Principal Act".

Long title amended

2. The Principal Act is amended in the Long Title by deleting "to provide financial autonomy to the Bose Levu Vakaturaga".

Section 2 amended

3. Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the word "BLV" and its definition.

Section 3 amended

4. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (2).

Section 4 amended

5. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) by deleting paragraph (a); and

(b) in paragraph (e) by deleting "BLV" and substituting "Board".

Section 5 amended

6. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting "including the BLV, selected under guidelines determined by the BLV" and substituting "selected under guidelines determined by the Board".

Section 10 amended

7. Section 10 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) in paragraph (a) by deleting "and subsequent endorsement by the BLV"; and

(b) in paragraph (b) by deleting "BLV" and substituting "Board".
