DECREE NO. 11
PRESCRIPTION OF SALARIES (AMENDMENT) DECREE, 1989
A DECREE TO AMEND THE PRESCRIPTION OF SALARIES ACT
IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree-
Short title
1. This Decree may he cited as the Prescription of Salaries (Amendment) Decree, 1989.
Schedule replaced
2. The Prescription of Salaries Act is amended by deleting the Schedule to that Act and substituting for that Schedule the following Schedule:

| Chairman of the Police Service Commission (if not also the Chairman of the Public Service Commission or a public officer) ......................................... | 4,000 per annum | ___ |

References in this Schedule to days shall be to days on which the holder of the office is required to carry out the functions of his office.".
Commencement
3. This Decree shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1989.
