MEDIA INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2010
(DECREE No. 43 OF 2010)

CLASSES OF PERSONS AND ORGANISATIONS DECLARED EXEMPT UNDER
THE SECTION 86 OF THE MEDIA INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT DECREE
[LEGAL NOTICE NO. 87]


IN exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 86 (2) of the Media Industry Development Decree 2010, I hereby exempt the following -


(1) Any business designated as being one in respect of which a licence is required under section 4 of the Business Licensing Act (Cap. 204) except for the following businesses -


(a) Journalist, including freelance


(b) Printer


(c) Publisher


(d) Station, Radio


(e) Station, Television


(f) Station, Video and Cinematograph Films


(2) Any State or Government entity or statutory body;


(3) Any educational facility that is registered under the Education Act (Cap. 262) or the Higher Education Promulgation 2008; and


(4) Any organisation referred to in section 6 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act, (Cap. 8).
