NOTICE


GS 4 of 2006


CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ACT


[24th March 2006]


IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Customs and Excise Act (CAP. 67), the Chief Commissioner of Revenue hereby repeals the Notice in Gazette No. 187 made in 1965 and declares the Port of Pangi at Lifuka to be a port of entry for the purposes of the customs laws and a custom area within as that specified below –


A straight line drawn from Point A (as stated in the attached chartlet) in a direction: to the westward; then northward; then eastward; along the wharf front until the line reaches Point B; then a straight line connecting to Point A.


Point A is located westward along the wharf front, 12.5 metres from the front edge of the ramp in .the wharf.


Point B is located westward along the northern rock armour of the wharf, 38.3 metres from the security fence on the wharf.
