PROCLAMATION

GS 3A of 2005

CONSUMPTION TAX ACT 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 1(2) of the Consumption Tax Act 2003, His Majesty in Council hereby PROCLAIMS that the following Parts of the Consumption Tax Act 2003 and the Fuel Sales Tax (Repeal) Act 2003, Port and Service Tax (Repeal) Act 2003 and Sales Tax (Repeal) Act 2003 shall come into force on the dates set out in the Schedule:

SCHEDULE

1. Parts III and XII of the Consumption Tax Act 2003 on 4 March, 2005.

2. Parts I, II, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, and XI of the Consumption Tax Act on 1 April, 2005.

3. Fuel Sales Tax (Repeal) Act 2003, Port and Service Tax (Repeal) Act 2003 and Sales Tax (Repeal) Act 2003 on 1 April, 2005.
