GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS LEAVE PASSAGE ENTITLEMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2012

MADE UNDER SECTION 7 OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT

Commencement [23rd January, 2012]

1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the General Administrative Orders Leave Passage Entitlement (Amendment) Order 2012.

2 Amendment

General Administrative Order 9.1.27 is repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following:

"(1) An officer, whose annual leave has been approved, is entitled to free passage by boat to and from his home island to his duty station.

(2) This entitlement includes the officer's spouse, whether working or not, and the officer's children under eighteen years of age.

(3) This entitlement is effective only if the officer spends annual leave on his home island.

(5) Where an officer paid for the cost of his annual leave in accordance with this section, the officer may claim a reimbursement of his cost, from the Secretary to Government, before the end of one month of resuming duties."

3 Commencement

This amendment shall come into effect on the date of publication by exhibition.
