GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS LEAVE PASSAGE ENTITLEMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2014

MADE UNDER SECTION 7 OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT

Commencement [01ST January, 2014]

1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the General Administrative Orders Leave Passage Entitlement (Amendment) Order 2014.

2 Amendment

General Administrative Order 9.1.27 is repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following:

(1) An officer, whose annual leave has been approved, is entitled to free passage by boat to and from his home island to his duty station.

(2) An officer who opt to take his/her leave entitlement in any place other than his/her home island shall be entitled to the free leave passage under paragraph (1) of this Order, calculated to the cost of a sea passage from Funafuti to the officers home island.

(3) The officers leave entitlement includes his/her spouse, whether working or not, and his/her children under eighteen years of age.

3 Order made by Minister

(1) This General Administrative Order was made on the 01st day of January, 2014.

(2) The Minister responsible hereby appoints the 01st day of January 2014 as the date this Order came into force therefore shall withhold its retrospective effect.
